Camilla’s Art Therapy

Camilla’s paintings colorful, witty, and infused with warmth. She paints to make people feel good, and here she gives us some little activities we can try at home, so we too can experience art as therapy.

Look at art a lot, be it online or at museums. Find an artist that you really like, and ask yourself: What is it that you like about it? The colors, the shapes? Let yourself be inspired.

Paint what’s in front of you. A sibling, a pile of fruit, a model at a zoom life drawing class–whatever!

Don’t focus on just one drawing. Try a few. Don’t be too precious about the outcome.

Just start. Draw something, anything! Get used to using
your hands to create something.
