Tip n.1: Regular grooming = preventative care. It can help keep serious health issues like matting and skin infection at bay, so don’t skip bath time! (We recommend Cloud Cleanser, a pH-balanced dog shampoo that’s gentle enough for regular use.)

Tip n.2: Bath time is also an opportunity to bond and build trust. Getting your dog comfortable with your touch is key to your special relationship. If your dog is new to grooming, have high-value treats on hand for positive reinforcement.

Tip n.3: Don’t forget to brush your dog’s teeth and coat — it’s essential for their oral, skin, and coat health. (After brushing and/or combing, we recommend Après Oil, a conditioning oil that adds instant shine and moisture to dull, dry skin and fur.)

Tip n.4: Grooming doesn’t have to feel like a chore. Build it into your schedule as a time to unplug, slow down, and care for your pet.

Tip n.5: Don’t forget to check for any unusual lumps, bumps, and cuts. Bathing and brushing are perfect times to catch anything out of the ordinary with your dog’s coat and skin.
