Look to nature for inspiration. Consider sunsets and flowers.

Reference colour theory.

Brush up on your colour theory and dust off that colour wheel – a triadic colour scheme, for example, uses three colours that are evenly spaced around the colourwheel.

Warm + Cool.

Place warm colours next to cooler ones – red with pale blue, mustard with green..
