As the world barrels ahead, Mijae’s approach to creative direction reminds us to stay present and slow down. At the fore of Seoul’s creative scene her work in ‘spatial storytelling’ is rooted in the power of small details to build unity and impact. For Mijae, environments are experiences and only when every element works in harmony do they stay with us. This philosophy of hers helps brands not only make aesthetic impact, but quietly shape culture and spotlight the beautiful rituals of everyday life. Her own TEA Collective uplifts local tea farmers and celebrates Korea’s lesser-known tea culture, creating something that is neither traditional nor disconnected. It’s a love letter to slower living, best savored one cup at a time. And honestly, it’s pure bliss.

Semaine What’s important to you right now?
M.K. True equilibrium. Finding that grounded balance between building my brand and honoring the things that keep me human—like personal downtime and the people I love.

Semaine If you were an object what would you be?
M.K. A large, rustic earthen teapot. You never quite know what's steeping inside, and the flavor deepens with every brew.

Semaine Describe your taste in one word.
M.K. Tactile. Drawn to the raw textures of earth and stone.

Semaine Where would you like to be right now?
M.K. An early summer weekend. Dancing on the rooftop of Nyapi (my husband's techno club just five minutes from home) with a cold beer, his set playing, and all my friends.
