In a city where history is everywhere, Marcantonio Brandolini d’Adda is exploring how heritage can remain alive without becoming fixed in the past. Since taking over Laguna~B in 2017, he has expanded the vision of the cult Murano glass house founded by his mother, Marie Brandolini, transforming it into a platform where craftsmanship, culture, and experimentation coexist. Working alongside master glassmakers in Murano, Marcantonio sees tradition not as something to preserve unchanged, but as a living practice that must continue to evolve.

Semaine What’s important to you right now?

M.B. It depends on what level. In my career as an artist and entrepreneur, the most important thing is to transmit to people the essence of the universe I’m building with my team and my family. On a broader level I would say just to live the moment. I know it sounds lame but it’s true.

“I love the public beach called Macondo, located at the furthermost tip of Alberoni, at the Lido. There's a beautiful hut serving good food, and it’s dotted with the diverse, colorful beach umbrellas that people bring from home. It’s also cool because you can play beach tennis all day.”
