Bespoke Framed ‘Square of Sunshine’
by RO Frames x Semaine
Semaine has teamed up RO Frames create a custom frame for Camilla Engstrom’s ‘Square of Sunshine’. The scarf was made from her oil on canvas work ‘Golden Path’ so why not hang it on your wall instead of around your head?
RO frames selected the colours of the gradient from Camilla’s work and sprayed the frame to create this bold, unique piece. Each frame is handmade in their dedicated workshop in the United Kingdom. They take considered care and attention when constructing their frames and handling artworks and use conservation standard mounting techniques and acid free material to ensure that artworks are preserved and presented properly.
About RO Frames:
Conservation picture framing with a modern twist. Each frame is hand made using conservation materials and techniques. They only use hardwoods for their frames, each with their own unique characteristics and properties. All timber is from BM Trada, FSC and/or PEFC credited suppliers. Each frame goes through a series of specialised construction processes, machine and hand sanding, specific finish preparation and finishing techniques that we believe makes all the difference in the look, quality and longevity of the end product.
