The bench scraper is one of the unsung heroes in the kitchen, and if someone you know likes to bake, even if they don’t bake bread, they may benefit from having one – it’s great for making making pie doughs biscuits and scones, frosting cakes, smoothing batters etc. they’re also just handy for helping scoop things off your cutting board and into your pan. i like ones with a hole through the handle for holding, but the size is a little large for some kitchens so the OXO is a great option if you think it will be too big for you.
