There are only a few blacksmiths where knives are actually made entirely by hand – one of them is the ‘Hohenmoorer Messermanufaktur.’ Every single one of the knives is special. The blacksmith Uli forges extraordinarily robust blades in nearly meditative concentration, fascinating with their purist, almost archaic minimalism.
