Amèle Moussaoui is the pharmacist and founder behind Misaj, a protective skincare brand born from a blend of worlds — her grandmother's herbal remedies, her mother's practice in traditional Chinese medicine, and her father's clinical precision as a surgeon. The idea took shape when a friend's frustration over juggling separate SPF and bug repellent sparked the blueprint for Misaj. Today, the brand merges Moroccan, Algerian, and French traditions with pharmacist-grade science, treating everyday protection with the same care and pleasure as the rest of your skincare routine.

Semaine What’s important to you right now?

A.M. Being intentional with my decisions and with my time. I have a lot on my plate with building misaj, and it's easy to get swept up in it. I'm trying to make choices based on what I really value and where I want to go, which means giving myself more time to think and to rest.

Misaj literally means balance. Lately I'm learning I have to practice it. Not just sell it.

Semaine If you were an object, what would you be?

A.M. A board game. It brings people together … well until one competitive person ruins the fun. That by the way can be me.

A.M. Precise. I know exactly what I love and what I can't stand ; the range just happens to be enormous. If it earns its place, it's fair game, however far apart the references are.

A.M. Doesn't matter where; as long as there's no phone, no laptop, no signal. Bonus if there's a beach.
