Daria Stankiewicz is a Polish-born designer, entrepreneur, and founder of Lido. After years immersed in the world of fashion, she channelled her eye for form and function into something altogether more sun-soaked, founding Lido in 2017 on the shores of Venice Lido. Drawing inspiration from Italian craftsmanship, minimalist design, and a lifelong love of the water, Stankiewicz has become known for her quietly refined approach to swimwear. One that blends technical precision with a timeless, barely-there ease. Her world is equal parts design studio, artisan atelier, and ode to summer, where every piece is treated as both a functional object and a work of considered beauty.

D.S. It's early summer so it’s all about feeling light. Swimming daily and eating gelato without restraint, enjoying the abundance of fresh vegetables, dozing off to the sound of the sea, being surrounded by colours and catching every sunset I can.

F.S In the present, always. It’s so hard to keep distractions at bay, to soak up the moment and fully appreciate what's around you. But otherwise I have to say: in a bikini, on a beach, somewhere warm!
